The Armstrongs Scott and Kerstin met in 1996, at Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS), Orlando, while Scott pursued his Masters in Christian Philosophy and Kerstin pursued a Masters in Divinity and Masters in Counseling. After working for Ravi Zacharias International Ministries for four years, they went back to RTS so that Scott could complete his Masters in Divinity and a Masters in Counseling. Sick of school, they came to Atlanta's Eastside (Candler Park) in 2005 to work as an assistant pastor at Perimeter Church in preparation for church planting. They enjoy good wine, good friends, good books, travel and The Flying Biscuit Cafe. They have a 3 year-old, Karis, the neighborhood's unofficial social committee chair, and another daughter, a newborn, Carlie. |
